Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher looking to make a difference in a Secondary School based in the Staffordshire Moorlands area? Academics are recruiting an inspirational English Teacher to join a Secondary School in the Cheadle, Staffordshire Moorlands area. This is a full-time role teaching English at Key Stages 3 and Key Stages 4 with a January 2026 start through to Easter 2026. For the right candidate, there is a potential to extend the contract to summer.
The Role
- You will be teaching English across KS3 and KS4 delivering engaging lessons that both challenge and support students' learning, evidenced by exam outcomes.
- You will be responsible for monitoring strong academic progression amongst the students.
- You will join a collaborative English department where you will be expected to contribute meaningfully.
Role Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English Language & Literature - essential.
- Previous experience teaching English at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5.

- Confidence in the classroom that demonstrates strong behaviour management skills.
