Join Our Team as a Learning Support Assistant in a Primary School in Cardiff! Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a difference in their educational journey? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our wonderful KS1 class on a full‑time, long‑term basis until the end of the academic year (July 2025).
The Role
- Location: A vibrant Primary School in Cardiff
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
- Contract: Temporary (to cover long‑term sickness)
- End Date: July 2025 (end of academic year)
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be playing a key role in ensuring that our KS1 students receive the support they need to thrive. You’ll assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and providing one‑to‑one support to children who need it most, helping to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Essential: Enhanced DBS check and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- Experience: Ideally, a strong background in working with children in a Primary School setting, especially within Key Stage 1
- Skills: Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to helping children succeed
- Availability: Full‑time commitment until the end of the academic year (July 2025)
