We are currently recruiting for experienced Teaching and Learning Support Assistants to join a range of our partner schools in Cannock and Rugeley. The roles are open to day-to-day supply, short-term and longer-term supply roles. You will be working through a trusted, established agency on a temporary basis. We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join us!
As a Teaching and Learning Support Assistant you will be working within a range of school settings supporting individuals/small groups of pupils under the direction of teaching staff. There may be opportunities to take the lead for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan.
The Role Includes:
- Working for a reputable education agency – Academics.
- Working collaboratively alongside staff, parents and children – ensuring a smooth, pleasant learning experience for all.
- Short-term/long-term and day-to-day cover opportunities working within a variety of Key Stages within the areas of Cannock and Rugeley.
- Implementing planned learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities according to pupils' responses.
- Support pupils with social and emotional well-being, understanding and supporting independent learning.
- Confidence in supporting pupils with SEN needs – this may be on a more 1:1 basis where required.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting a primary classroom environment.
- Obtains a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate (minimum).
- Is a committed Teaching and Learning Support Assistant who feels confident in supporting children; tailoring learning to ensure each child flourishes.
- Has the ability to support SEN and EAL pupils confidently.
- Holds an Enhanced DBS (or is willing to obtain one).
- Is available to start ASAP.
- Is able to commute to Cannock and surrounding areas on a daily basis.
- Is fully registered to work with Academics.
Pay: £93 – £100 per day, depending on experience and assignment. Holiday pay is included in the daily rate.
