We are currently recruiting for a highly experienced, dedicated and passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join an established, trusted supply agency supporting local schools and nursery settings on a daily, short-term and long-term basis. You will be supporting local schools and nurseries on a supply basis in the areas of Cannock, Hednesford, Stafford and Rugeley.
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner you will be supporting children's learning, including working with individuals, groups and whole classes using detailed knowledge, experience, specialist skills and training. Use your expertise to provide appropriate support to children in relation to each child's individual needs. Be familiar and confident in the planning and delivery of the Early Years Curriculum, contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of children's day-to-day responses to learning activities using a range of assessment and monitoring strategies.
- Provide pastoral and academic support to pupils within a school and nursery environment.
- Assist in fostering a positive, nurturing learning environment, by implementing relevant behaviour management strategies in line with school/nursery policies.
- Provide relevant support to pupils, helping them achieve individual learning goals.
- Contribute to the Early Years curriculum planning, evaluation and implementation working alongside the class teacher.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified NVQ Level 3 Early Years (necessary).
- Strong and valuable experience of working with children in an EYFS setting.
- A kind, caring and supportive nature in which you feel passionate about supporting children in an education setting.
- Available to support a long-term role within the same school, on a temporary basis working through an agency.
- Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to obtain one).
- Able to commute to a school in Rugeley.
- Fully registered (or willing to register) with Academics.
Pay: £93 - £100 per day, depending on experience. Holiday pay is included in the daily rate.
