Responsibilities
- As the Teaching Assistant, provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day
- Work closely with the class teacher to adapt learning activities and resources
- Support engagement, focus and positive behaviour using agreed strategies
- Encourage independence, confidence and inclusion within the classroom
- Monitor progress and feedback observations to teaching staff
Requirements
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
- Able to build positive, respectful and trusting relationships with pupils
- Calm, patient and proactive approach to learning and behaviour supportAvailable full time from January for the duration of the role
