Mid-Day Supervisor - Caerphilly Looking for a role that fits around your existing commitments? Academics are currently recruiting a Mid-Day Supervisor to work within a primary school in the Caerphilly area on a long-term basis. Working just 11:30am-1pm, Monday to Friday, this role is ideal for someone looking to work a couple of hours each day while still having plenty of time for other personal commitments. The Role As a Mid-Day Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising pupils throughout their lunchtime, helping to ensure they are safe, happy and well cared for. Your responsibilities will include: Supervising children while they eat their lunch Supporting pupils during their lunchtime routines Monitoring behaviour and encouraging positive interactions Supervising children in the playground during lunchtime Ensuring pupils remain safe and following school rules Supporting children who may need additional help during lunchtime Dealing appropriately with minor incidents and concerns Creating a positive and enjoyable lunchtime environment Reporting any concerns to the appropriate member of school staff Following the school's safeguarding procedures We're Looking For Previous experience working with children is desirable Experience caring for children would also be advantageous Available Monday to Friday, 11:30am-1pm Someone looking for a long-term opportunity Why This Role?
