SEN Teaching AssistantWe are recruiting for a caring, patient and confident SEN TA to join a mainstream primary school in Bromley , supporting pupils with additional needs across KS1 and KS2 .This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previous SEN experience, is confident supporting children on a 1:1 basis , and has strong behaviour management skills. About the RoleThe successful SEN Teaching Assistant will: Provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with additional needsWork across KS1 and KS2 , depending on the school's requirementsSupport pupils with their academic, social and emotional developmentDeliver individual and small-group activitiesAssist teachers with classroom learning and day-to-day routinesUse positive and consistent behaviour management strategiesEncourage pupils to build confidence, independence and engagementAdapt support to suit individual learning and behavioural needsThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who has: Previous SEN experience - essentialRelevant qualifications or training in education, SEN, childcare or a related areaExperience supporting pupils 1:1Excellent behaviour management and communication skillsThe flexibility to work with children across KS1 and KS2Experience or confidence working within a mainstream primary schoolA calm, supportive and patient approachA genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learningLocation: BromleySetting: Mainstream Primary SchoolFocus: SEN Support | 1:1 | Behaviour ManagementPLEASE SEND UPDATED CVS TO YASMINE PITMAN AT ACADEMICS ROCHESTERSalary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
