A caring and inclusive school in Bromley is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team from September 2026 on a full time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping pupils reach their full potential in a nurturing and positive learning environment.

The Role

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, both individually and in small groups
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
  • Help to create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals where required

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with children with SEN, either in a school or similar setting
  • Is patient, caring, and adaptable
  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Is committed to supporting inclusion and pupil wellbeing
  • Holds relevant qualifications or training in education or SEN support (desirable but not essential)
