Academics have been approached by a secondary school in Canterbury, Kent to source a Teacher of Maths for September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-achieving and ambitious school that will take your career to the next level! Although this school is offering a permanent contract, they would also be keen to hear from Maths teachers who might want to work on a supply basis initially (through Academics Ltd).
We require an inspirational teacher, who possesses outstanding teaching skills, to join the school's well established Mathematics Department. All pupils currently study Maths at KS3 and KS4 and it is a popular A level option too. The school follows the AQA Maths GCSE and AS/A level syllabus.
This school really believes in professional development; in exchange for hard work and a commitment to the school, they will ensure that you are prepared for the next stage in your teaching career. This role would be suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced teachers.
