Job Overview:
- This school caters for students aged 11-16.
- Full-time, Monday - Friday Behaviour Support Assistant role.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for students displaying challenging behaviour.
- Support students with SEMH needs, behavioural difficulties, and barriers to learning.
- Implement behaviour support strategies and interventions in line with school policies.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with students to promote engagement and progress.
- Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, SENCOs, and senior leaders.
- Support students both in lessons and during unstructured times throughout the school day.
- Monitor and record student behaviour, attendance, and progress.
- Promote positive behaviour, resilience, self-regulation, and emotional wellbeing.

What We're Looking For:

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Calm, patient, resilient, and adaptable approach.
- Ability to manage challenging situations confidently and professionally.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them succeed.
- Strong teamwork and organisational skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
