We are working with a well-regarded Secondary Academy in Braintree, rated GOOD by Ofsted, that is seeking a motivated and dedicated Science ECT to join their successful Science department. This Braintree academy is committed to delivering high-quality Science education, fostering curiosity, and supporting students to achieve their full potential across Key Stages.
Job Overview:
- This academy caters for students aged 11-19.
- Full-time, Monday - Friday, Science ECT role.
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with KS5 opportunities available).
- Teach a broad curriculum including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Receive structured support through a comprehensive ECT induction programme.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear feedback to support development.
- Work collaboratively with experienced colleagues and contribute to departmental planning.
