We are working with a well-regarded Secondary Academy in Braintree, rated GOOD by Ofsted, that is seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to join their team. This Braintree academy is committed to maintaining high standards of education, ensuring continuity of learning, and supporting students to achieve their full potential across Key Stages.
Job Overview:
- This academy caters for students aged 11-19.
- Full-time, Monday - Friday, Cover Supervisor role.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Ensure students remain on task and engaged with their learning.
- Provide support to students where needed, including one-to-one or small group assistance.
- Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with SLT, teachers, and support staff.
