Academics is looking to recruit a skilled Design Technology Teacher to work in secondary schools across Bradford. We welcome applications from teachers specialising in Resistant Materials, Product Design, Engineering, Graphics or Construction.
The Role
You will:
- Teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4.
- Deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons.
- Maintain workshop health and safety standards.
- Support students with practical coursework and GCSE projects.
- Assess and monitor student progress.
- Work collaboratively within the DT department.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Design Technology in UK secondary schools.
- Strong practical workshop knowledge.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and student success.
