We, Academics, are working closely with an Alternative Provision School located in Yardley who are seeking a experienced and dedicated SENCO to join their team. The school supports Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4 pupils with EHCPS, who primarily present SEMH needs, alongside ASD, ADHD and challenging behaviours. The role includes: Leading and overseeing SEND standard across the school Supporting pupils with EHCPs and additional needs Working closely with teachers and outside organisations Monitoring pupils progress and ensuring appropriate interventions are in place Supporting a positive and inclusive learning environmentWith only a maximum of 15 students throughout the school, this is a great opportunity for a driven and proactive SENCO to truly make an impact in a small, encouraging Alternative Provision setting.
