Academics are currently recruiting confident and adaptable KS2 Teachers to support a number of our partner schools across Bradford. We work with a variety of schools including mainstream settings and specialist SEN provisions, offering flexible opportunities for experienced and passionate educators.
This is a fantastic opportunity for KS2 Teachers who enjoy working in different environments and supporting children in the later stages of primary education. Roles may include working within Year 3 to Year 6 classrooms, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), or teaching within dedicated SEN provisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress
- Preparing pupils for statutory assessments (including SATs where applicable)
- Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Working collaboratively with support staff, parents and the wider school team
- A confident and proactive KS2 Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within KS2
- A flexible and reliable approach to working across different schools
- A genuine passion for inspiring and motivating pupils
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a DBS application
