Academics are currently recruiting confident and adaptable EYFS / Reception Teachers to support a number of our partner schools across Bradford. We work with a variety of schools including mainstream settings and specialist SEN provisions, offering flexible opportunities for experienced and passionate early years educators.
This is a fantastic opportunity for EYFS / Reception Teachers who are enthusiastic about supporting children at the very start of their educational journey. Roles may include working within Reception classes, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), or teaching within dedicated SEN provisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
- Supporting children's early development across all areas of learning
- Observing, assessing, and tracking pupil progress
- Creating a nurturing, safe and stimulating learning environment
- Supporting children's social, emotional and communication development
- Differentiating activities to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN
- Working closely with teaching assistants, parents and carers
- A confident and proactive EYFS / Reception Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within EYFS, ideally in a Reception setting
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A nurturing and patient approach to teaching young children
- A flexible and reliable approach to working across different schools
- A genuine passion for early years education
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a DBS application
