As the leading recruitment agency in and around Berkhamsted, Academics are expanding our supply team and are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Berkhamsted.

Vacancy: Primary Teaching Assistant

Contract: Temporary, daily supply/short term cover

Location: Berkhamsted

Pay: £95 to £105 per day

Due to new appointments with schools and a surplus in short term requirements, we are keen to hear from individuals seeking additional work as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

In this role, you will:

  • Support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including Autism, SEMH and learning difficulties.
  • Assist teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Encourage pupils' confidence and independence.

We are recruiting staff for daily supply and short-term cover who are keen to support numerous children across Independent and Primary School (EYFS, KS1, KS2).

What we're looking for:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN/mental health challenges (school, care, or youth setting experience all considered).
  • Flexible and adaptable individuals keen to support children of all ages and abilities.
  • Graduates with an interest in education, SEN, or psychology are encouraged to apply.

Pay: £95 to £100 per day depending on your experience.
