EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant - Doncaster
Are you a CACHE Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant with EYFS and SEN experience looking for a new opportunity in Doncaster?
Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant for temporary, ongoing supply work across mainstream primary schools in Doncaster.
This EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant role would suit someone who enjoys supporting younger children with additional needs within a mainstream classroom. Due to staffing ratios within Early Years settings, a CACHE Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or a relevant equivalent is essential for this role.
Position: EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £92.56 - £100 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

About the Role
Working as an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant in Doncaster, you will support children within Reception and Early Years environments, including pupils who require additional SEN support. xgikmsk
The EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant will work alongside the class teacher to support learning, communication, development and positive behaviour within a mainstream school.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children across EYFS with their learning and development
- Provide additional support to pupils with SEN
- Assist with engaging and age-appropriate activities
- Encourage communication, independence and positive behaviour
- Support individual learning and development needs
- Work closely with teachers and SEN staff
- Follow EYFS and safeguarding procedures
Candidate Requirements
- CACHE Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or relevant equivalent - essential
- Previous EYFS or Early Years experience
- Experience supporting children with SEN
- Understanding of the EYFS framework
- Caring, patient and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS Certificate or willingness to obtain one
