Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning? This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural support and help them develop the skills needed to succeed both academically and socially.
In this role, the Behaviour Teaching Assistant will work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, supporting them to manage their behaviour, regulate emotions, and engage positively in the classroom. The successful Behaviour Teaching Assistant will play a key role in creating a structured and encouraging environment where pupils can thrive.
As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with behavioural needs in and out of the classroom
- Help implement behaviour management strategies and support plans
- Build positive and consistent relationships with students
- Encourage engagement with learning and school activities
- Support emotional regulation and conflict resolution
- Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
