Year 1 Teacher
to join their team from January 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a friendly, welcoming school community with a supportive team who are committed to providing children with a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment.
The school is looking for an enthusiastic teacher who can bring learning to life, inspire young minds and help children make a confident transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage into Key Stage 1.
You will be joining a team that values creativity, collaboration and ensuring every child is given the encouragement and support they need to reach their full potential.
About the role: Full-time teaching position, Monday to Friday.
Teaching a Year 1 class.
January 2027 start.
Initially offered for two terms, with the possibility of becoming permanent thereafter.
Planning and delivering creative, engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
Supporting pupils as they develop their independence, confidence and early learning skills.
Monitoring progress and adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
Working closely with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.
The ideal candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1.
Have a good understanding of the transition from EYFS into KS1.
Be confident delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
Have a nurturing approach and a genuine passion for teaching young children.
Be organised, enthusiastic and committed to helping every pupil succeed.
Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a supportive school team.
