Academics are looking to appoint a KS2 Phase Leader on behalf of a progressive and inclusive 2-form entry primary school. This Basildon based primary school is seeking a strong, passionate and driven Teacher to join their warm and welcoming KS2 team from September 2026 on a permanent contract.

As the KS2 Phase Leader, you will be responsible for leading the KS2 team and monitoring student achievement across the KS2 Phase. It will also be your responsibility to implement effective and appropriate behaviour management strategies and work alongside the senior management team.

PERSON SPECIFICATION - KS2 Phase Leader - Basildon, Essex

  • Evidence of 'Good to Outstanding' teaching practice
  • UK QTS is a must
  • Experience in delivering the UK national curriculum is essential

As an experienced, motivated KS2 Phase Leader, you'll be tasked with planning and developing lessons designed to increase creativity and engagement, whilst also working with and leading your teaching team.
