Academics are working with an 'Outstanding' graded and modern primary school in Basildon who are seeking a passionate, driven and ambitious KS1 Teacher who is ready for a new and exciting opportunity. This role is due to begin in April 2026 and is a permanent role.
Role and responsibilities
The role involves leading the school to raise attainment in the KS1 class. This will include gap analysis of pupils’ strengths and weaknesses to help close gaps between pupils. You will be supported by the school’s senior leadership team. You will lead colleagues in formulation, review and evaluation in line with the Head Teacher and SLT. Together with the senior leadership team and staff, this Head Teacher has high expectations of teaching and learning and endeavours to make the curriculum fun and creative. You must be a passionate and creative primary teacher who is not afraid to share ideas and work together with the staffing team to make the curriculum exciting and enjoyable. You will be required to work alongside your partner teachers to plan, prepare and deliver lessons to all abilities.
