The Role - Chemistry Graduate / Unqualified Chemistry Teacher
- Full-time Chemistry Graduate teaching role from January 2027 to July 2027
- Work as an Unqualified Chemistry Teacher within a high-performing Science department
- Support and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Lead practical Chemistry experiments and support students during laboratory activities
- Prepare and organise laboratory equipment, resources and practical materials
- Maintain high standards of laboratory health and safety
- Support students with their understanding of Chemistry and scientific concepts
- Work closely with experienced Chemistry and Science Teachers
- Gain valuable classroom experience in preparation for teacher training or a future career in education
About You - Chemistry Graduate
The school is looking for a Chemistry Graduate who is passionate about their subject and interested in developing a career in education. You will ideally have:
- A 2:1 degree or above in Chemistry from a leading UK university
- A or A* grades at A Level, including Chemistry
- Excellent Chemistry subject knowledge

- A genuine interest in Chemistry teaching and education
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous school, tutoring or classroom experience is desirable but not essential
