We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 & KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a Good-rated primary school in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, graduate or someone looking to build their experience working with children.
The Role
- Support pupils during lessons
- Provide individual and small-group support
- Assist pupils with their learning and development
- Help to create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
- Support teachers with classroom management and pupil behaviour
- Encourage pupils to develop confidence and independence
About You
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic
- Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with teachers and pupils
- Calm and patient when dealing with challenging situations
- Confident in creating a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Familiar with the primary school curriculum and classroom learning
- Committed to providing a safe, healthy and supportive environment for children
- Able to support teachers with managing pupil behaviour
Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential. Experienced Teaching Assistants and graduates are both encouraged to apply.
