A friendly and inspiring school in Devizes are looking for an Autism Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as next week. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, and is a fantastic opportunity for a recent Graduate or a caring individual interested in specialist education. The SEN school caters for children on the Autistic Spectrum, and therefore the students need assistance with communication, social cues, fine motor skills, self-regulation, emotional expression and sensory processing. As the Autism Teaching Assistant, you will provide all students with the support they need to thrive in all areas of education, helping them academically, socially and emotionally. You will also help manage any challenging behaviour that may arise, and encourage positive decision making.
