An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in Enfield is seeking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Principal to join its senior leadership team from September 2026 on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced middle or senior leader looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic and inclusive school community. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour, and student achievement across the school.

The Role

  • Support the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school
  • Lead on key whole-school priorities such as behaviour, teaching and learning, pastoral care, attendance, or curriculum development
  • Drive high standards of academic achievement and student outcomes
  • Support and develop teaching staff through coaching and professional development
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and aspirational school culture
  • Work collaboratively with SLT, staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • UK QTS and substantial secondary teaching experience
  • Proven leadership experience within a secondary school setting
