A highly supportive and inclusive Primary School in Camden are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis. This position is ideal for aspiring Primary Teachers who are keen to develop their classroom practice before undertaking a PGCE or Schools Direct programme. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be based in Year 1 (ages 5-6), supporting whole-class learning, delivering targeted interventions, and working closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will play a key role in helping children with additional needs access the curriculum, build confidence and make strong academic progress. The successful candidate will hold a 2:1 or above degree in any subject and demonstrate a genuine passion for working with children. Previous experience supporting children - whether within a school, tutoring environment, coaching role or youth setting - will be highly desirable.
