Academics is proud to be working in partnership with a highly supportive and inclusive primary school in Hammersmith and Fulham to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant / Aspiring Primary Teacher for a September 2026 start.
Location: Hammersmith and Fulham, West London
Pay: Β£95-Β£105 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: September 2026 - July 2027 (term time only)

This role is perfect for an aspiring primary teacher looking to build classroom experience before undertaking a PGCE, Schools Direct, or another teacher training route. The school has a strong track record of supporting individuals who are passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on children's learning and development.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely alongside experienced teachers across KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils both academically and socially. You will gain hands-on experience delivering interventions, assisting with classroom activities, and supporting children with additional learning needs, including SEND.
The school is looking for a caring, proactive, and dedicated individual who enjoys working with children and is committed to helping every pupil thrive.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A degree in any subject
- A genuine interest in becoming a primary teacher
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience working with children through tutoring, mentoring, coaching, voluntary work, childcare, or school placements (desirable but not essential)
