A specialist SEMH school in Bath is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role is ideal for an Aspiring Educational Psychologist looking to build a career in psychology, education, or mental health, and offers excellent education and training opportunities.

The Role:

  • As a Mental Health Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who face challenges such as anxiety, trauma, OCD, depression, ADHD, and autism.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to provide emotional and academic support, helping students manage their emotions, build self-confidence, and develop independence.
  • Each day will bring new experiences as you work in small groups or one-to-one with students, assisting in their learning while ensuring their emotional well-being.
