Academics are recruiting on behalf of a residential SEN school in Andover which caters for young people aged 11-19 years with a primary diagnosis of autism, complex needs and challenging behaviour. All young people have an EHCP.
They are seeking a dynamic, committed, and creative Special Needs Teacher to join their dedicated team in September. As a Special Needs Teacher, you will deliver engaging, adaptable lessons that build confidence, curiosity, and achievement in learners with additional needs across KS3 and KS4.
The successful Special Needs Teacher will be required to:
- Deliver high-quality teaching within Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4.
- Support students to achieve qualifications up to GCSE level.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual EHCP outcomes.
- Motivate and engage learners through inclusive, creative practice.
