A specialist residential SEN school in Andover is seeking a passionate and committed Primary Teacher / KS2 Teacher to join its dedicated team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish and shape a new Key Stage 2 provision within a specialist setting supporting young people with autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviours. Every student has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and the school is committed to delivering personalised education that enables pupils to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The successful candidate will be a creative and adaptable teacher who can build positive relationships, inspire confidence, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs. You will deliver high-quality teaching within the Key Stage 2 provision, adapting lessons to support EHCP outcomes and ensure pupils can access learning at an appropriate level. You will create a positive and structured classroom environment, support student progress through meaningful feedback, and contribute to the wider life of the school community. Working collaboratively with a skilled and supportive team, you will play an important role in helping shape and develop this growing provision.
The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
