Academics are recruiting on behalf of a residential SEN school in Andover which caters for young people with a primary diagnosis of autism, complex needs and challenging behaviour. All young people have an EHCP.

They are seeking a committed and creative KS2 Teacher to join their dedicated team. You will play a key role in establishing their new Key Stage 2 provision, delivering engaging and adaptable lessons that build confidence, curiosity, and success in learners with additional needs.

The successful KS2 Teacher will be required to:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching within their Key Stage 2 provision.
  • Support students to access the National Curriculum at an appropriate level.
  • Adapt teaching to meet individual EHCP outcomes.
  • Motivate and engage learners through inclusive, creative practice.
  • Provide meaningful feedback to support progress and build confidence.
  • Contribute to enrichment and the wider life of the school.
  • Work collaboratively within a skilled and forward-thinking team.

The suitable KS2 Teacher must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching at Key Stage 2
  • Strong classroom management and a flexible, responsive teaching style
