Academics is working closely with a fantastic, high-achieving Primary School in Amersham that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join their Early Years team from September 2026.

About the Role:

  • Full-time (Monday to Friday)
  • Supporting Early Years pupils within a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working alongside the class teacher to deliver the EYFS curriculum
  • Providing tailored support for children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including communication and interaction needs, autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs
  • Delivering small-group and one-to-one interventions to support children's learning, communication, and social development
  • Taking observations, monitoring progress, and contributing to individual learning plans and support strategies
  • Working closely with the school's SENCO, teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need
  • Long-term opportunity for the full academic year, with training and progression available

What We're Looking For:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (e.g. NVQ, CACHE, BA)
  • GCSEs in Maths & English (A*-C / 9-4)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework
  • Experience carrying out Early Years observations and assessments
  • Experience supporting children with SEN in an Early Years, nursery, or primary school setting is highly desirable
  • A good understanding of inclusive practice and the ability to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
  • A confident, patient, proactive, and positive attitude
  • A team player who is adaptable, committed, and passionate about early childhood education
