ALN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Cardiff Primary Schools £95 per day | Weekly Pay | 1:1 & SRB Opportunities Academics is currently recruiting ALN LSAs for a number of opportunities across mainstream primary schools in Cardiff. We work with a range of local schools who require experienced support staff to work on a 1:1 basis or within Specialist Resource Base (SRB) classrooms, supporting pupils with a variety of needs. Whether you have experience supporting individual pupils or working within specialist classroom environments, we have a range of opportunities where you can make a real difference to children's education and development. The Role as an ALN Learning Support Assistant Providing tailored 1:1 support to pupils with ALN. Supporting pupils within SRB classrooms in mainstream primary schools. Working with children with a variety of additional learning needs. Helping pupils access the curriculum and engage with classroom activities. Supporting social, emotional and behavioural development. Encouraging independence, confidence and positive learning experiences. Working closely with teachers and other support staff to meet individual pupil needs. We're Looking For Previous experience supporting pupils with ALN is essential. Experience working as an LSA, Teaching Assistant or within a specialist setting. A patient, caring and adaptable approach. Confidence supporting children with a range of additional needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development. Pay & Requirements £95 per day, paid weekly. Potential pay increases depending on the school's agreed rate, your qualifications and experience. Enhanced DBS certificate required. Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) required.
