Early Years Teaching Assistant

Location: Maidstone, Kent Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (1 Year)

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Maidstone from September 2026 on a one-year fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to create a nurturing, stimulating, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

Working closely with the class teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will

Hold a Level 3 CACHE qualification (or an equivalent Early Years qualification).

Have experience working with children within an Early Years setting.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.

Be patient, caring, and committed to supporting every child's individual needs.

Work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
