As an Ad-hoc Learning Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work across a range of welcoming Primary Schools throughout Barry, Penarth, Dinas Powys, Cowbridge, and Rhoose.

Working as an Ad-hoc Learning Support Assistant gives you the freedom to choose the days and hours that suit your lifestyle, while building relationships with local schools.
Many of our schools in Barry regularly request staff back, allowing you to create a reliable pool of schools where you feel comfortable and valued.
As an Ad-hoc Learning Support Assistant , you will: Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 within Primary Schools.
Work alongside class teachers to provide engaging learning support.
Assist children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Adapt quickly to different school settings across Barry and the wider Vale of Glamorgan.
What We're Looking For Strong experience working within Primary Schools.
An active Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration.
A valid Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one) The ability to travel to schools in Barry, Penarth, Dinas Powys, Cowbridge and Rhoose.
