I am seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a school with a specialist team working with an individual child who requires support with speech and language. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual committed to ensuring that students are supported to enjoy learning and achieve in line with national expectations.

A key element of this role will be using specialist skills to enable the student to access the curriculum. The successful candidates will need to be ICT competent, have experience with assistive technology, or be willing to broaden their ICT knowledge to include Augmentative and Assistive Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology. All training for this position will be provided.

Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as there will be a need to clarify and explain instructions clearly and build effective relationships. Another aspect of the role involves assisting with the physical needs of the student, including personal care and manual handling.
