Academics are working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Devizes that are seeking a committed 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to work closely with a pupil with complex needs. Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a student with additional or complex needs
- Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
- Foster a nurturing, structured, and inclusive learning environment

Ideal Candidate
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
- Calm, patient, and resilient nature
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trusting, consistent relationships
- Confident managing challenging behaviour where required
- Holds a current DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one
