1:1 Learning Support Assistant Year 2 (KS1) Pupil (Wantage) Part-Time (with potential for full-time) | Start ASAP Are you a patient, reliable, and compassionate individual with experience supporting children with additional needs? We are looking for a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant in the Wantage area to work closely with a Year 2 pupil who requires tailored support. About the 1:1 Learning Support Assistant Provide consistent, nurturing 1:1 support to a Year 2 pupil with demand avoidance tendencies, ADHD , and emotional dysregulation . Start on a reduced timetable , with plans to gradually increase to full-time hours. During reduced hours, assist with classroom support or small intervention groups to create a half-day role. Build a trusting, long-term relationship with the pupil to foster their engagement and growth.
