We are looking for a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant in the Wantage area to work closely with a Year 2 pupil who requires tailored support. About the 1:1 Learning Support Assistant Provide consistent, nurturing 1:1 support to a Year 2 pupil with demand avoidance tendencies, ADHD , and emotional dysregulation . Start on a reduced timetable , with plans to gradually increase to full-time hours. During reduced hours, assist with classroom support or small intervention groups to create a half-day role. Build a trusting, long-term relationship with the pupil to foster their engagement and growth. What We\’re Looking For Experience working with children with additional needs , particularly ADHD and emotional regulation challenges. A patient, consistent, and empathetic approach.
