Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support (Pontyclun Area) Position: Teaching Assistant (1:1) Location: Pontyclun, RCT Start Date: 3rd February 2025 We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our school in the Pontyclun area. This role involves providing 1:1 support to a pupil with Down Syndrome who is non-verbal. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the pupil to support their educational and personal development. Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored learning plans. Employ creative and flexible approaches to communication and engagement. Promote inclusion and ensure the pupil feels safe, valued, and supported. Foster a nurturing and encouraging environment for the pupil to thrive.
