Youth Mental Health Worker – Midhurst Are you passionate about supporting children with their mental health needs? If so… A truly rewarding opportunity has become available for a Youth Mental Health Worker to work in a school in Midhurst. This is an excellent position to gain valuable experience while making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children. This school places a strong focus on supporting students diagnosed with Autism, ensuring they receive the necessary interventions to aid their development and education. As a Youth Mental Health Worker, you will play a vital role in helping children manage their emotions, regulate their mental health, and develop healthy coping strategies. Your Role: Supporting and shadowing the class teacher. Providing 1:1 support for SEN students. Assisting in delivering engaging and exciting lessons. Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Supporting students with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs), Autism, and complex needs. Implementing behavioural management strategies where necessary.This is an incredibly rewarding experience that will enrich your own life while making a positive impact on children who are struggling to cope in the classroom.
