Academics are currently recruiting a reliable and adaptable Key Stage 2 Supply Teacher to support our partner primary schools in Ilkley and the surrounding Wharfedale area. This role is ideal for a teacher with a strong understanding of KS2 (Years 3-6) who is confident stepping into a variety of local primary schools and has a good understanding of how supply teaching works.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience teaching across Key Stage 2
- Be confident delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining established classroom routines
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and a calm, engaging teaching style
- Be flexible, professional and reliable for day-to-day, short-term or long-term cover
- Adapt quickly to different school settings within the Ilkley area
Academics works closely with a number of Ilkley-based and Wharfedale primary schools, offering regular and flexible supply opportunities close to home.
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive daily rates, dependent on experience and role (£140-£170 per day)
