Academics are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 teacher to join a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in North Leeds. This is a long term position starting after February half term until the end of the academic year, with the exciting opportunity to transition into a permanent contract from September 2026.\\n\\nWith a high percentage of SEND and EAL pupils, the school prides itself on its inclusive ethos and supportive team. Previous experience supporting pupils with additional needs would be highly beneficial.\\n\\nAs a Year 5 teacher, you will:\\n\\nPlan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum\\nDifferentiate effectively to support children with a range of abilities\\nWork collaboratively with colleagues in the year group and across the school\\nBuild positive relationships with pupils, parents and the wider school communityThe ideal Year 5 teacher will:\\n\\nHold QTS or equivalent\\nHave proven classroom experience, ideally in Key Stage 2\\nDemonstrate a strong understanding of strategies for supporting SEND and EAL pupils\\nBe committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential\\nHave DBS on the update service or willing to apply for oneThis is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Year 5 teacher looking for your next role in Leeds
