Key Responsibilities of Year 1 Teacher:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with either a PGCE or a Bachelor of Education; Early Career Teachers (ECT) are also encouraged to apply
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- Design and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to Year 1 students
- Address and manage challenging behaviours through creative and constructive approaches
- Assess student progress, offering feedback and support to foster growth
- Work well both independently and collaboratively with the teaching team
