Responsibilities
- This is a 2 form entry primary school seeking a part time Year 1 Teacher from January 2026. The role is a job-share arrangement working 3 days per week on a long-term contract for the academic year. A permanent contract may be offered for the right candidate.
- You will be required to plan, prepare and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons for a mixed-ability Year 1 class.
- You will plan with partner teachers and have allocated PPA time to stay involved in planning with the class.
- Classes consist of a Year 1 group of 28 children who are well behaved and eager to learn.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Must hold QTS. ECTs are welcomed, but the role would not count towards your ECT induction.
- Experience as a KS1 teacher is preferred.
