About the Role: A Special Needs School in Wheatley are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their busy team. The school supports primary-age children with a wide range of needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and physical disabilities.
Your Day to Day: Every day at the school is different! You will work closely in a class of 8 to 10 students, alongside the class teacher and another teaching assistant, to help create a fun and engaging learning environment. This Specialist school have a big emphasis on hands-on learning, and making a difference. You will be:
- Helping students develop real-life skills, through cooking, outdoor education and animal therapy!
- Supporting children with their communication and social skills through sensory play and interactive activities.
