About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced external tutor to provide 1:1 home tuition for a student based in the Ashford area. Tuition will take place in the student's home, and the role is coordinated through Academics. The student requires personalised academic support, tailored learning strategies, and a calm, patient approach to help them engage confidently with their studies.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, individualised learning sessions in the student's home
- Plan and structure lessons according to the student's needs and academic levels
- Support learning in subjects identified by the referring school or education authority
- Create a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant tutoring/teaching experience
- Experience delivering 1:1 tuition, ideally with pupils who require additional support
- Strong communication and organisational skills
