Academics is an education recruitment agency with strong, long-standing partnerships across primary and secondary schools throughout the Vale of Glamorgan. We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for January 2025 to support schools in a variety of roles, including general classroom support, 1:1 intervention, and SEN provision.
Whether you are an experienced TA or looking to build your experience in education, we want to hear from you!
Roles Available
- General classroom support across Early Years, KS1, and KS2
- 1:1 support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
- Small group interventions for literacy and numeracy
- Behaviour support and pastoral assistance
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months\’ experience working with children or young people
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Academics)
- Relevant qualifications or training in childcare, education, or SEN support (desirable)
- A positive, proactive, and reliable approach to supporting pupils and staff
