The Job: Working with pupils in a large specialist SEN school, no two days will be the same! You'll be supporting the class teacher as part of a team of teaching assistants, to help the children with whatever they may need! Some physical support, help with communication and interpersonal skills, and delivery of sensory curriculum based learning activities!
You’ll Be:
- Experienced working with people with a disability or SEN
- Happy to carry out personal care including changing and manual handling
- Able to communicate effectively with children who may have limited verbal skills
- Promoting happiness, self-reliance and encourage positive interactions
