We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in the north of Cardiff. This is a full-time, long-term temporary position initially running until Christmas, with a strong possibility of extension through to the end of the academic year.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely within a KS2 classroom environment, providing vital support to both the teacher and pupils. A key focus will be supporting individual pupils 1:1 in areas such as numeracy, literacy, and reading.

  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting, preferably within KS2
  • Proven experience supporting pupils 1:1 with numeracy, literacy, and reading
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (mandatory)
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
